The right pocket gaps and doesn't lay flat. The left pocket is better, although still not the most flattering placement for a pocket. I just wear a longer shirt to hide the upper part of the pockets. Not recommended if you have curves and want to tuck a shirt in. I washed it hoping the pockets would lay better, but that didn't work. Otherwise comfy with a great material.

Wore this for golf last night and it was perfect. The side pockets are great, hold extra golf ball, tee and marker with plenty of room to spare. Very comfy.
