Inconsistent sizing

"I ordered two pairs of the city stretch pant. One in dark green and another in the light blue shade. They both were the same size. A size large. The light blue was considerably smaller than the dark green. Easily lost an inch on the waist band and around the thighs. Unfortunately, I took the tags off the light blue because the dark green were a perfect fit. Still love the pants but I'm unsure of what size to order in the future, bc I'm not sure what a true large fit is."

"The fabric is soft and pleasing. I like the stripes on the side gives a different look than my other leisure pants. Probably could dress these up with a little nice white dress shirt. The fit and price were just right as well. Five stars."
