Summer outfits should work just as hard as your schedule does.
Whether you're grabbing coffee, running errands, heading into the office, meeting friends for dinner, or squeezing in an evening walk, the best pieces are the ones you don't have to overthink. Because let’s be honest - we all have plenty of other things to overthink about.
As someone who's currently 18 weeks pregnant (yay!), comfort has officially become my top priority. Granted, I could've done without the weeks of nausea, but at least I've graduated from looking like I just had a really good lunch. Thankfully, as always, these RBX pieces made getting dressed easy without sacrificing style.

One of my favorite combinations was the All Day Ribbed Tank paired with the Ponte Kick Flare Capri Pant, with the Daily French Terry Tunic tucked in my bag for later.
Let's start with the pants because... wow.
The Ponte Kick Flare Capri Pant completely surprised me. They're polished enough to wear to work or a nice dinner, but comfortable enough that I never found myself counting down the minutes until I could change into sweatpants. Finding pants that feel this good while still looking put together should be considered a public service.
The All Day Ribbed Tank is one of those closet staples you'll end up reaching for constantly. It's soft, stretchy, flattering, and versatile enough for everything from a morning workout to layering under your favorite pieces. Sometimes the simplest basics become the hardest-working items in your wardrobe.

I wore this outfit for a nature walk earlier in the day, and it was perfect for being outside without feeling restricted. As the evening rolled around and the sky started turning those beautiful golden-hour colors, I threw on the Daily French Terry Tunic in Light Green before heading out to watch the sunset with friends. It was exactly the extra layer I needed. Lightweight enough that I wasn't overheating, but cozy enough once the evening breeze rolled in. It's one of those pieces you'll toss into your tote "just in case," and then spend the rest of the night feeling very proud of yourself for remembering to bring it.
One Dress, Countless Plans
Another favorite quickly became the Traveler Fit and Flare Dress layered with the Laidback Linen Button Down Shirt.
This was my "I'm leaving the house and honestly have no idea where the day is taking me" outfit.
Coffee? Absolutely. Running errands? Of course. Browsing a few stores I definitely didn't need to go into? Naturally.
The Traveler Dress made all of it easy. The buttery-soft fabric is incredibly comfortable, the fit is flattering without feeling restrictive, and the side pockets deserve their own little moment because every dress is automatically better with pockets. I don't make the rules.

By the time I finished bopping around town, I was ready for a slower pace. As the evening cooled off, I layered on the Laidback Linen Button Down, and it instantly pulled the whole outfit together. It's lightweight, breathable, and gives that effortless look that somehow says, "I planned this outfit," even if you absolutely did not. It's the kind of layer that's perfect for lingering outside a little longer while the sun dips below the horizon.
The older I get, the more I appreciate clothes that actually work with my life instead of requiring an outfit change every few hours. These pieces move effortlessly from morning coffee to afternoon errands, evening walks, dinner plans, and everything in between.
The best part about summer layering is that it doesn't have to be complicated. A great tank, comfortable pants, an easy dress, and a couple of lightweight layers can take you just about anywhere.
And if they can survive a full day of summer plans and pregnancy? I'd say that's about the best endorsement I can give. You’ve done it again, RBX ☀️
